Finally, the day has come for the ultimate turntable. Not an ordinary turntable but the best-designed table that could be made. Built to last forever. Incredibly the turntable only has ONE moving part. No wheels to wear out like competitors or cheap temporary auto show displays. Simple 3-piece design makes installation simple. Precision rolled steel outer ring and the only turntable welded in a DOT (Department of Transportation) registered shop by fully certified welders.
Our founder, Daniel Horenberger, spent his life restoring more antique carousels then any one else in the USA. The restoration of carousels led him to manufacturing carousels, carousel gears and the specialized bearings for carousels. Not the quick, cheap and easy ways like most carousels are built today. His carousels are built with steel gears and one-of-a-kind bearings just like the original carousels. His motto is: if it was good enough to last 100 years, why change it?

Mr. Horenberger is also an avid car collector with over 50 antique cars and trucks. Over the years many fellow collectors have asked him to build a car turntable display for their showroom or garage. After looking at what is currently on the market, he saw one major flaw, wheels. Wheels need maintenance and wear out. Even good ones would only last a few years, not forever. Carousels are built to last forever with little to no maintenance, serving the same purpose and handling hundreds of thousands of pounds of weight. The carousel spins off one center bearing, no wheels.
The center bearing for the turntable is the same type that is used on carousels. The complete weight of the unit and vehicle is totally supported by the bearing, not by wheels. The steel in the frame weighs more then most cars. A rolled steel outside edge for even more added strength and stability. It can be equipped with an industrial quality gearbox and with a variable speed motor drive. Built and designed to run all day, everyday. It is so well-balanced that even with a full load one is able to turn the table effortlessly with one hand!
The only criticism has been: "This thing is way over built". The kind of criticism we like. We are not out to make the most turntables, only the best. We know that in 100 years from now our turntable displays will still be running without any problems just like our carousels.
